The last regiment, 344th Guards Missile Regiment, stood down 1.3.83.
In 1986 the division was transferred to Irkutsk, Irkutsk Oblast, now attached to the 53rd Missile Army, and was to have controlled 5 regiments with RSD-10 Pioner (SS-20) missiles. This never took place due to the INF treaty, and instead the first RT-2PM (SS-25) regiment became operational 27.5.88.
