Activated 23.6.60 in Pervomaysk, Nikolayev Oblast, under the 29th Missile Brigade, and from 5.61 the 46th Missile Division.
The regiment consisted of three battalions with each 3 R-14 (SS-5) silos.
The first battalion went on alert duty in 1962 (three R-14 silos), the second battalion in 1963 (three R-14 silos), and the third battalion in 1964 (three R-14 silos).
From 1972 independent, directly under the 43rd Missile Army.
The battalions stood down in 1978, and in 1.7.79 the regiment moved to Olovyannaya, under the 47th Missile Division.
11.81 transferred to Novosibirsk, now under under the 39th Guards Missile Division.
1985 transferred to Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Kray, under the 23rd Guards Missile Division.
The regiment went on alert duty in 1985 with 9 RSD-10 Pioner-UTTKh (15P653) (SS-20) missiles.
The regiment stood down 8.88, and began conversion to the RT-2PM (15P158) (SS-25) missile - alert duty from 25.10.91 with 9 missiles.
The regiment stood down 15.8.05, and was disbanded shortly thereafter (30.9.05).
