Activated 6.60 in Pashino, Novosibirsk Oblast, under 212th Guards Missile Brigade, and from 5.61 the 39th Guards Missile Division.

Never operational with the R-16 missile, and controlled no BSP site.

1962 transferred to Baikonur, Kzyl-Orda Oblast, under the 5th NIIP (Baikonur Test Center).

Disbanded 1962.

Re-activated 1966 in Kozelsk, Kaluga Oblast, under the 28th Guards Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 15.8.68 with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos in area BRK-3.

The regiment stood down in 1976, and converted to the UR-100N (SS-19) missile - alert duty from 1.76.

The regiment stood down in 1982, and converted to the UR-100NU (SS-19) missile - alert duty from 1983.

Disbanded 1.12.08.
