Never operational with the R-16 missile, and controlled no BSP site.

8.65 transferred to Zhangiz-Tobe, Semipalatinsk Oblast, under the 57th Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 6.12.66 with 6 R-36 (8K67) (SS-9) silos at site BRK-1.

The regiment stood down in 1975, and converted to the R-36M (15A15) (SS-18) in 1976 - alert duty from 14.12.76, now with 10 silos.

The regiment stood down 1982, and converted to the R-36MUTTKh (15A18) - alert duty from 1982.

Disbanded 1994.
