Activated 31.12.60 in Tyumen, Tyumen Oblast (formation begun 13.6.60), under 216th Missile Brigade, from 4.61 the 41st Guards Missile Division.

Never operational with the R-9A missile, and controlled no BSP site.

6.65 transferred to Kartaly, Chelyabinsk Oblast, under the 59th Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 18.12.66 with 6 R-36 (8K67) (SS-9) missiles at site BRK-1.

The regiment stood down 20.6.74, and began conversion to the R-36M (SS-18 missile), as well as construction of four additional silos - alert duty from 20.10.75.

The regiment stood down in 1980, and began conversion to the R-36MUTTKh - alert duty from 5.10.82.

Disbanded 1.12.04.
