Activated 6.60 in Tyumen, Tyumen Oblast, under 216th Missile Brigade, from 4.61 the 41st Guards Missile Division.

Never operational with the R-9A missile, and controlled no BSP site.

1965 transferred to Derzhavinsk, Turgay Oblast, under the 38th Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 20.11.66 with 6 R-36 (8K67) (SS-9) missiles at site BRK-1.

The regiment stood down 1976 and converted to the R-36M (SS-18 missile) - alert duty from 17.12.76, now with 10 silos.

The regiment stood down 1982 and converted to the R-36MUTTKh (SS-18 missile) - alert duty from 1982.

Disbanded 1994.
