Organisation 1946:

In 5.60 the 19th Guards Cannon Artillery Brigade was renamed 7th Guards Missile Brigade.

Organisation 1970:

In 1971 the 463rd Guards Howitzer Artillery Regiment was renamed 463rd Guards Reactive Artillery Regiment.

In 1974 the 315th and 316th Guards Heavy Howitzer Artillery Regiments joined the division.

In 1976 the 258th Anti-Tank Artillery Regiment was activated.

1978: 2 regiments with 152mm ML-20, 2 regiments with 130mm M-46, 1 regiment with BM-21 and 1 regiment with 100mm T-12

In 1989 the 315th Guards Heavy Howitzer Artillery Regiment was renamed 287th Guards Heavy Howitzer Artillery Brigade, and the 000 Reconnaissance Artillery Regiment was disbanded.

In 1991 the 316th Guards Heavy Howitzer Artillery Regiment was renamed 285th Guards Heavy Howitzer Artillery Brigade, and the 458th Guards Cannon Artillery Regiment was renamed 268th Guards Cannon Artillery Brigade.

Disbanded 1993 - traditions, honors and awards were transferred to the 34th Artillery Division.
