The 157th Fighter Aviation Regiment joined the division 12.45, after the 234th Fighter Aviation Division had been disbanded - by this time almost all divisions were increased to four regiments.

10.1.49 renamed 119th Fighter Aviation Division.

In April 1947 a new directive was issued, reducing all divisions to the regular three regiment size, and the 900th Fighter Aviation Regiment was disbanded.
