Organisation 1945:

In June 1945 the 240th Fighter Aviation Division in Oranienburg, Germany, was added to the corps.

The 3rd Guards Fighter Aviation Division left the corps in 9.48.

10.1.49 renamed 61st Guards Fighter Aviation Corps.

The 131st Fighter Aviation Division arrived from Poland 10.49.

Organisation 1950:

A major reorganization took place in 10.51 - the 131st and 119th Fighter Aviation Divisions left Germany, and was replaced by the 6th Guards and the 105th Fighter Aviation Divisions.

Organisation 1952:

In 10.53 the 170th Guards Fighter Aviation Division was replaced by the 126th Fighter Aviation Division.

Organisation 1960:

5.80 renamed 669th Front Aviation Corps (mobilization).
