In 6.44 the forming I. and III./FJR.15 was replaced by I./FJR.13 and I./FJR.14, so that the regiment became combat ready before the rest of the division. The regiment was attached to the 17. SS Panzer-Grenadier Division in Normandy, and was destroyed there.

Reformed 10.44 in the Den Haag-Amsterdam area.
