Organisation 1947:

1.10.48 the 347th Guards Air Landing Regiment was used to activate the 11th Guards Airborne Division, and was replaced by the new 51st Guards Air Landing Regiment.

1949 the 51st Guards Air Landing Regiment were converted and renamed 51st Guards Parachute Regiment.

In 1949 the 00 independent Air-Landing Security Company was disbanded.

In 1986 the 131st independent Guards Self-Propelled Artillery Battalion was disbanded, and was absorbed by the Artillery Regiment.

Organisation 1989:

8.93 the 119th Guards Parachute Regiment joined the division from the 7th Guards Airborne Division, replacing the 331st Guards Parachute Regiment.

1.5.98 the 139th independent Guards Engineering Battalion was renamed the 322nd independent Guards Engineering Company, and the 107th independent Guards Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion was renamed the 191st independent Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile and Artillery Battery.

1.12.99 the 322nd independent Guards Engineering Company was renamed the 322nd independent Guards Engineering Battalion, and the 191st independent Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile and Artillery Battery was renamed the 107th independent Guards Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion.
