The regiment stood down in 1976.

The regiment went on alert duty 9.77 with 9 RSD-10 Pioner-K (15P645K) (SS-20) missiles.

The regiment stood down in 1988, and was transferred to Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El Republic, in 1989, under the 14th Missile Division.
