Activated 6.60 in Teykovo, Ivanovo Oblast, under the 197th Missile Brigade, and from 5.61 the 54th Guards Missile Division.

1963 with 2 battalions at two sites:

• site BSP-3 with 2 R-16 pads - alert duty from 12.2.62
• site BSP-4 with 2 R-16 pads - alert duty from 30.1.64

In March 1964 all battalions were upgraded to regiments:

• site BSP-3 remained as 594th Missile Regiment with 2 R-16 pads
• site BSP-4 became 127th Missile Regiment with 2 R-16 pads

In 1968 the regiment stood down, and the BSP-3 site was transferred to the 604th Missile Regiment.

Red Banner awarded in 1968.

The regiment went on alert duty 20.12.70 with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos at site BRK-4.

The regiment converted to the UR-100K missile in 1974.

The regiment stood down in 1990, and was disbanded (1.3.91).
