In 1968 the regiment stood down, and the BSP-3 site was transferred to the 604th Missile Regiment.

The regiment went on alert duty 20.12.70 with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos at site BRK-4.
The regiment converted to the UR-100K missile in 1974.
The regiment stood down in 1990, and was disbanded (1.3.91).
