Converted to the MR-UR-100U (15P016) (SS-17) missile in 1979 - alert duty from 17.12.79 with 10 silos.
Converted to the MR-UR-100 (15A11) Perimetr command missile from 3.7.84 - alert duty from 8.86 with 10 silos.
The regiment stood down 6.95.
Converted to the RT-2PM (15P158) (SS-25) missile in 1995/96 (took over the missiles from the 396th Missile Regiment which had arrived from Belorussia in 1994) - alert duty from 27.12.96 with 9 missiles.
Honoured with the name "Tverskoy" in 1999.
