• 8th independent Engineering & Test Unit (RT-2/23 development) with 10 silos

• 2nd independent Engineering & Test Unit (Temp-2S development) with 2 pads

1981 renamed 2nd Scientific Experimental Department (4th NIU).

Organisation 1989:

• 8th independent Engineering & Test Unit (RT-23 development) with 5 silos

• 196th OSB

• Assembly-line Brigade (military unit: 13991-F) - from 1980

• Quality-control and Testing Base (military unit: 35547) - from the 6th Test Department in 1984

1998 disbanded, and absorbed by the Test Center for stationary and mobile missile systems.
