Activated 6.60 in Ukurey, Chitinskaya Oblast, under the 119th Missile Brigade, from 5.61 the 4th Missile Division.

Did not operate any R-16 (SS-7) sites, due to difficult terrain, and remained inactive to 1966.

The regiment went on alert duty 24.11.66 with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos in area BRK-1.

The regiment went off alert duty 10.1.73, and converted to the UR-100K - alert duty from 20.7.73.

From 25.10.91 continued on alert duty, but with the warheads now removed from the missiles.

The regiment went off alert duty 10.3.92, and was disbanded 1.9.93.
