The regiment was to have controlled the planned site BSP-21 with 2 R-16 pads, which was never completed.

13.9.65 transferred to Kartaly, Chelyabinsk Oblast, under the 59th Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 30.12.66 with 6 R-36 (8K67) (SS-9) missiles in area BRK-2.

The regiment stood down 5.5.75, and began conversion to the R-36M (SS-18 missile) - alert duty from 3.12.76.

The regiment stood down 1981, and began conversion to the R-36MUTTKh (SS-18 missile) - alert duty from 1981.

Disbanded 2005.
