Activated 1.10.69 in Vypolzovo (Bologoye-4), Tver Oblast, under the 7th Guards Missile Division.

20.7.71 transferred to Pervomaysk, Nikolayev Oblast, under the 46th Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 5.11.73 with 10 UR-100U (15A20U) (SS-11) silos at site BRK-9.

Converted to the UR-100N (SS-19) missile 1977, the UR-100NU (SS-19 mod. 3) in 1981, and the RT-23U (SS-24) in 1990 - only had 6 missiles on alert duty when the Soviet Union was dissolved.

The regiment was disbanded 2001.
