Activated 1966 in Aleysk, Altai Kray, under the 41st Guards Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 2.9.67 with 6 R-36 (8K67) (SS-9) silos at site BRK-2.

The regiment stood down in 1977, and converted to the R-36M (15A15) (SS-18) missile - alert duty from 1977.

1982/83 converted to the R-36MUTTKh (15A18) missile.

Disbanded 2001.
