15th Missile Regiment

Activated 1983 at Kolomiya, Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast, under the 44th Missile Division, from parts of the 40th Missile Regiment.

1984 transferred to Glukhov, Sumy Oblast, and came under the 43rd Guards Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 27.11.84 with 9 RSD-10 Pioner-UTTKh (15P653) (SS-20) missiles.

1988 converted to the RSD-10 Pioner (15V236) Perimetr system.

The regiment stood down 1990, and was transferred to Kartaly, Chelyabinsk Oblast - renamed 326th TSBU (Center for Combat Control), and was directly subordinated to the General Staff (GSH RV).

1995 again renamed 15th Missile Regiment, and became subordinated to the 59th Missile Division at Kartaly.

Disbanded 2005.
