Activated 1966 at Vypolzovo, Tver Oblast, under the 7th Guards Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 26.9.67 at site BRK-1, with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos.

Converted to the MR-UR-100U (15P015) (SS-17) missile in 1975 - alert duty from 15.10.75 with 10 silos.

The regiment stood down 1989, and was disbanded 1.12.89.
