Initially equipped with 24 152mm 2s5 Giatsint-S (1 battalion) and 48 152mm D-20 (2 battalions).

1988 with 36 152mm 2s5 Giatsint-S (2 battalions) and 36 152mm D-20 (2 battalions).

In 1989/90 the last two battalions converted to the 152mm 2s5 Giatsint-S.
