In 1950 the 57th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment PVO was detached to the 328th Fighter Aviation Division PVO, and was replaced in 7.50 by the 139th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment PVO.
In 10.50 the 139th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment PVO was detached to the new 28th Fighter Aviation Division PVO.
In 1952 the 287th Fighter Aviation Regiment joined the division.
In 8.56 the 72nd Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment PVO was transferred to the Belomorskiy Air Defence Corps.
In 9.56 the 28th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment PVO was transferred to the 17th Fighter Aviation Division PVO.
