Activated 1.12.60 in Slobudka, Brest Oblast, under the 31st Guards Missile Division, from the 56th Guards Cannon Artillery Regiment.

Organisation:

In 11.62(?) the regimental HQ was transferred to Ruzhany, Brest Oblast.

The battalions stood down 14.2.84, and the regiment was transferred to the 49th Guards Missile Division in 1985.

The regiment went on alert duty 30.4.85 with 9 RSD-10 Pioner-K (15P645K) missiles (the missiles came from the 8th Missile Division).

The regiment stood down 1989, and began conversion to the RT-2PM (15P158) (SS-25) missile - alert duty from 1991 with 9 missiles.

The regiment stood down 1994, and the missiles were transferred to the 37th Missile Regiment (4th Missile Division).

The regiment was disbanded in 1995.
