Activated 15.11.64 at Itatka, Tomsk Oblast, as the 32nd Missile Brigade.

Initially under the 7th independent Guards Missile Corps, and from 8.6.70 the 33rd Guards Missile Army.

Organisation 1964:

• 739th Missile Regiment (Itatka, Tomsk Oblast) with 2 R-16 pads

• 67th Missile Regiment (Itatka, Tomsk Oblast) with 2 R-16 pads

• 73rd Missile Regiment (Itatka, Tomsk Oblast) with 2 R-16 pads

29.1.69 renamed 97th Missile Brigade.

The three regiments stood down in 1969, and left Itatka.

Disbanded 30.5.73.
