Activated 6.60 in Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El Republic, under the 201st Missile Brigade, and from 5.61 the 14th Missile Division.

The regiment controlled no BSP site with the R-16 missile.

7.64 transferred to Tatischevo, Saratov Oblast, under the 60th Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 7.12.66 with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos at site BRK-3.

The regiment stood down 1976, and began conversion to the UR-100N (SS-19) missile - alert duty from 1976.

Converted to the UR-100NU (SS-19) missile in 1984.

The regiment stood down 2002, and began conversion to the RT-2PM2 Topol-M2 (SS-27) missile - alert duty from 21.12.03 with the first six silos, and 2007 (planned) with all 10 silos.

US designation: Tatischevo ICBM complex (Launch Group C). Type IIID silos.
