621st Missile Regiment

Activated 6.60 in Teykovo, Ivanovo Oblast, under the 197th Missile Brigade, and from 5.61 the 54th Guards Missile Division.

Never operational with the R-16 missile, and controlled no BSP site.

1965 transferred to Dombarovskiy, Orenburg Oblast, under the 13th Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 27.11.66 with 6 R-36 (8K67) (SS-9) missiles at site BRK-1.

The regiment stood down in 1974, and began conversion to the R-36M (SS-18 missile), as well as construction of four additional silos - alert duty from 24.12.74.

The regiment stood down in 1980, and began conversion to the R-36MUTTKh - alert duty from 23.12.82.

Disbanded 2008.
