Activated 6.60 in Svobodnyy, Amur Oblast, from the 847th Artillery Regiment - initially under the 133rd Missile Brigade, from 5.61 the 27th Missile Division.

1963 with 3 battalions at three sites:

• 1st Battalion - BSP-31 with 2 R-16 pads - alert duty from 10.2.62

• 2nd Battalion - BSP-32 with 2 R-16 pads - alert duty from 12.62 (estimate)

• 3rd Battalion - BSP-33 with 2 R-16 pads - alert duty from 12.63 (estimate)

In March 1964 all battalions were upgraded to regiments:

• 1st Battalion remained as the 570th Missile Regiment, now with 2 R-16 pads (site BSP-31)

• 2nd Battalion became 772nd Missile Regiment with 2 R-16 pads (site BSP-32)

• 3rd Battalion became 774th Missile Regiment with 2 R-16 pads (site BSP-33)

In 1968 the regiment took control over the BSP-32 and BSP-33 sites:

• BSP-31 with 2 R-16 pads

• BSP-32 with 2 R-16 pads

• BSP-33 with 2 R-16 pads

The regiment stood down in 1976 and was disbanded (1977).
