The regiment went on alert duty 1968 with 6 R-36 (8K67) (SS-9) silos at site BRK-4.
The regiment stood down in 1978, and converted to the R-36M (15A15) (SS-18) - alert duty from 1978.
The regiment stood down 1983, and converted to the R-36MUTTKh (15A18) - alert duty from 1983.
Disbanded 1994.
