Activated 11.66 in Svobodnyy, Amur Oblast, under the 27th Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 1968 with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos at site BRK-5.

The regiment stood down 1973, and began conversion to the UR-100K missile - alert duty from 1974.

Disbanded 1994.
