Activated 31.3.66 in Kostroma, Kostroma Oblast, under the 10th Guards Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 17.12.68 with 10 UR-100 (8K84) (SS-11) silos in area BRK-4.

The regiment converted to the MR-UR-100 (15A15) (SS-17) missile in 1977/78 - alert duty from 12.78 with 10 silos (Type IIIH) and one LCF (Type IIIX) silo.

The regiment stood down in 12.1.88 and was disbanded.
