Activated 1966 in Tatischevo, Saratov Oblast, under the 60th Missile Division.
The regiment went on alert duty 1967 with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos at site BRK-8.
The regiment stood down 1981, and began conversion to the UR-100NU (SS-19) missile - alert duty from 20.6.82.
The regiment stood down 1988, and began conversion to the RT-23UTTKh (SS-24) missile - alert duty from 31.5.89 with 10 silos.
The regiment stood down 1999, and began conversion to the RT-2PM2 Topol-M2 (SS-27) missile - alert duty from 26.12.00 with the first six silos, and 2001 (planned) with all 10 silos.
US designation: Tatischevo ICBM complex (Launch Group H). Type IIID silos.
