Activated 3.64 at Yurya, Kirov Oblast, from parts of the 527th Missile Regiment - under the 8th Missile Division.

The regiment controlled site BSP-21 with 3 R-16 (SS-7) silos, which went on alert duty 10.2.65.

In 1968 the regiment took over site BSP-3 from the 527th Missile Regiment and site BSP-4 from the 640th Missile Regiment:

• site BSP-21 with 3 R-16 silos

• site BSP-3 with 2 R-16 pads

• site BSP-4 with 2 R-16 pads

The regiment stood down in 1977, and was disbanded 1978.
