Activated 7.11.68 in Chekhov-7, Moscow Oblast.

Consists of two Dunay-3U (20Yu6) radars - SPLS-61 (sector angle 260-308 degrees) and SPLS-62 (sector angle 76-124 degrees).

Construction began in 1969 (SPLS-61) and 1970 (SPLS-62).

SPLS-61 began tests 15.1.75 followed by SPLS-62 from the autumn 1977.

The radars was accepted for service 28.12.77, and went on alert duty 15.5.78, as part of ABM system A-35M.
