K-239 - Krasnoye Sormovo, Gorkiy - serial no. 301 - laid down 20.7.79 - launched 29.7.83 - completed 29.9.84; 8.83 to 9.83 transferred to Severodvinsk for fitting out, via inland waterways; 30.12.83 to Guba Oleniya for final tests; 7.12.84 accepted into the Northern Fleet, attached to the 6th Submarine Division; 29.3.85 declared ready for duty; 6.85 conducted deep dive test; 1986 first operational tour, including long-range tracking of submarines; 1987 2nd operational tour; 1990 3rd operational tour; 3.6.92 re-classified as a ABPL, and renamed "B-239"; 6.4.93 renamed "Karp"; 11.94 to 12.94 minor repairs; 30.5.98 decommissioned, and laid-up at Severodvinsk; 2013 the planned modifications and repair work finally began in Severodvinsk
