12.1.90 the Vilnius Militia Force for Special Use (OMON -
activated in 10.88) became attached to the division, followed by the Riga
Militia Force for Special Use (OMON - activated in 3.10.88) from 2.10.90.
In 1990 the 107th independent Special Motorised Battalion was
activated in Kaliningrad, Kaliningrad Oblast.
