• 81st Guards Rifle Division (Glukhov, Sumskaya Oblast) - former 9th independent Guards Rifle Brigade
• 112th Guards Rifle Division (Desna, Chernigov Oblast) - former 12th independent Guards Rifle Brigade

In 11.53 the 81st Guards Rifle Division was transferred to Arad, Romania.

27.7.54 the 64th Guards Mechanised Division was renamed 14th Guards Tank Division, and was detached from the corps.

In 7.57 the 81st Guards Rifle Division returned from Romania.

• 81st Guards Motorised Rifle Division (Konotop, Sumskaya Oblast)
• 112th Guards Motorised Rifle Division (Desna, Chernigov Oblast)

1.8.57 renamed 27th Guards Army Corps.
