1981 with 36 130mm M-46 (2 battalions) and 36 152mm D-20 (2 battalions).

1982 the 130mm M-46 (2 battalions) was replaced by the 152mm 2s5 Giatsint-S (one battalion).

From 1982 equipped with a mix of 152mm 2s5 Giatsint-S and 152mm D-20.

In 11.93 united with the 289th Artillery Brigade of High Power, and was renamed 9th Guards Artillery Brigade.
