1960 renamed 98th Guards Cannon Artillery Regiment.

1970 with 130mm M-46 (2 battalions) and 152mm D-20 (1 battalion).

25.8.81 renamed 385th Guards Artillery Brigade.

1981 with 36 130mm M-46 (2 battalions) and 36 152mm D-20 (2 battalions).

1982 the 130mm M-46 (2 battalions) was replaced by the 152mm 2s5 Giatsint-S (one battalion).

From 1984 fully equipped with the 152mm 2s5 Giatsint-S, the 152mm D-20 was transferred to the 390th Guards Artillery Brigade.
