Formed 1.9.41 in Ploesti from Luftverteidigungskommando 10 with:

In March 1942 moved to Southern Russia, to support operations in the Crimea, but on 5.42 moved to Kursk, now attached to the 2nd Armee, with:

1942/43 operations at Kursk and the Don river.

Organisation 1.11.43:

Stab/Flak-Regiment 153 (mot.) joined the division in 1.44; Stab/Flak-Regiment 133 (mot.) left the division in 3.44, while Stab/Flak-Regiment 48 (mot.) joined the division during the same month.

Stab/Flak-Regiment 153 (mot.) and Stab/Flak-Regiment 48 (mot.) left again in 5.44 (both returned in 8.44), while Stab/Flak-Regiment 12 (mot.) joined the division.

Stab/Flak-Regiment 12 (mot.) left again in 6.44, while Stab/Flak-Regiment 7 (mot.) joined the division (left again 7.44, but returned 8.44).

Stab/Flak-Regiment 77 (v) and Stab/Flak-Regiment 99 (mot.) left the division 8.44, while Stab/Flak-Regiment 17 (mot.) joined the division.

Organisation 1.9.44:

Stab/Flak-Regiment 17 (mot.) left for the 17. Flak-Division in 9.44, while Stab/Flak-Regiment 99 (mot.) returned during the same month, but left again in 11.44.

1943/44 operations in South Russia, Galizien (Lemberg and Cracow), 3.45 in Lauban area, 4.45 attached to the 17th Armee at Troppau, and ended the war in Königinhof. 1.3.45 moving to SW Lauban, under I. Flakkorps.

Subordinated to Luftflotte 4, and from 5.42 to 5.45 under I. Flakkorps, except 8.8.42 - 2.43 under Luftwaffenkommando Don.
